Australian AWESOME SUMMIT 2022
Early 2022 in Sydney, Australia
The Australian Awesome Summit in 2022 will bring together our Australian - and global - community.
On Friday, we'll kick off with community-building drinks in Redfern.
Saturday is a whole day of activities, from talks to breakout sessions to a party.
On Sunday, join us in exploring the wonderful city that is Sydney.
Coming to town early or staying a bit late? We have ideas on how to spend your time.
Australian Awesome Summit 2022 Sponsors
The 2022 Australian AweSummit is made possible by our awesome sponsors: Doublestar, Awesome Without Borders, 107 Projects, and Redfern Surf Club, with logistical support from Awesome Foundation Sydney.
The 2022 Australian Awesome Summit is a three-day opportunity for the Australian #awesome community to connect. Chapters worldwide are heartily welcome to come if borders are open to tourists; otherwise, all Trustees globally are invited to attend our online portions on the Saturday.
Invited to RSVP? Please register for which events you'd like to attend.

2022 LOCATION & VENUE
Sydney is a fabulous city to explore! Check below info on how to get here, how to get around, where to stay, and what to do.
How to get here
Sydney has robust public transport across trains, buses, and ferries.
There are also bikeshare companies, taxis, and Uber/Didi/Ola.
Both the Friday and Saturday AweSummit events take place a 6-7 minute walk from Redfern train station (just one stop from Central).
where to stay
Sydney has many options for lodging, including hotels, hostels, and AirBnb. We recommend staying near a train line if you plan to attend events by train, as our venues on Fri & Sat are close to Redfern Station.
We will also be offering opportunities to lodge with Sydney Trustees/Ambassadors, as available.
How much does it cost?
The AweSummit is entirely free to attend. The only cost to you is: travelling to Sydney; if you prefer to stay in paid accommodation; and any food/drinks during the weekend.
Where can I stay?
Catch up with Sydney friends you haven't seen in a while, or couchsurf at one of the Sydney Trustees'/Ambassadors' places.
Do I have to attend all the events?
No come to some or all of the weekend. We do encourage you to, if you're attending the main Summit day on Saturday, attend the entire daytime event.
Can I bring a +1 to the Friday community drinks or the Saturday AweSummit party?
Bringing a guest should be fine - please reach out to coordinate.
